1. Data on your phone
Your profile, shelf, routine, skin ratings, scan history and chats with Naia are saved only on your phone.
Delete parts of it in Glowbie
- Scans: Settings › Face scans, or Settings › Data & privacy, deletes every saved scan with its photos and maps.
- Chats: swipe a chat away in Naia’s history, or delete them all in Settings › Data & privacy.
- Sharing: switch off skin reads or Naia in Settings › Data & privacy to stop sending anything for them.
Delete everything by removing the app
- 1Cancel any active subscription first. Removing the app does not cancel it.
- 2Press and hold the Glowbie icon, then choose Remove App and Delete App.
- 3If you use iCloud Backup, an older backup may still hold a copy of the app’s data. Delete that backup in your iPhone’s settings if you want it gone.
2. Data on our side
We never keep your face photos or your profile. Here is what we hold, and what removal involves:
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Face photos | Not kept by us. Our skin analysis partner deletes each photo after processing, under its policy. |
| Installation record and skin read allowance | Deleted when you ask. Daily usage counts are deleted after 30 days anyway. |
| Copies of AI exchanges with Naia (PostHog) | Deleted when you ask, as far as we can match them to you. |
| Analytics events and the first-run recording (PostHog) | Deleted when you ask, as far as we can match them to you. Recordings are deleted after 30 days anyway. |
| Purchase records | Kept by Apple and Adapty as long as tax and accounting law requires. We can't erase these. |
How to ask us
We don’t hold your name or email, so we can’t look you up by them. If we can’t match a request to any record, we’ll tell you, and it usually means we hold nothing that identifies you.
Deleting your installation record removes your usage history and membership link on our side. If you reinstall Glowbie later, it starts fresh. Restore on the membership screen brings back Glowbie Pro.
3. Subscriptions are separate
Deleting data doesn’t cancel Glowbie Pro. On your iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. The subscription terms have the details.
